The leaders of Tunisia and the Libyan opposition are discussing their shared security concerns. Mahmoud Jibril, the deputy leader of Libya's rebels, said Saturday that he and Tunisia's prime minister talked about both urgent security questions and long-term coordination.
Tens of thousands of Libyans have fled to Tunisia to escape fighting between supporters of Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi and the rebels. Those battles have sometimes played out along their shared border. Both countries also face instability at home. Libyan rebels have taken control of most of the country and the capital, but fighting continues. (AP)
