Netanyahu: No apology for soldiers defending themselves

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN's Palmer Report during a cabinet meeting Sunday, saying: "We do not need to apologize for the fact that Navy and IDF soldiers defended themselves against the violent attack of IHH activists, or that we are working to prevent the smuggling of arms to the Hamas terror organization."

However Netanyahu did add that "the State of Israel regrets the loss of life, and I hope we'll find a way to mend the relations with Turkey." (Ronen Medzini)
