Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz addressed the National Labor Court's ruling Sunday that the collective resignation of medical residents is not legal, saying: "We cannot have anarchy. We can't all suffer, including the workers. That's what the court decided today."
According to Steinitz, "Any kind of strike would hurt the patients, and it lacks legal validity. We all live in a law-abiding state, I as well. As the Finance Minster I respect the law even when it's inconvenient, and the residents must respect the law as well." (Ronen Medzini)
