Egyptian official: We won't behave like Turkey
A senior source within the Egyptian foreign ministry made it clear that Turkey's decision to expel the Israeli ambassador would not lead Egypt to take a similar step against Israel's ambassador to Cairo in response to the deaths of the Egyptian soldiers in fire exchanges along the border in August.
In an interview with London's al-Shark al-Awsat the senior official noted that the two incidents were dissimilar. "The Turkish decision was based on a UN international inquiry, just like the one Egypt is carrying out. We will make an independent unhurried decision based on that probe," he added. (Elior Levy)
