Peres, Belgian PM discuss Israel-PA ties

President Shimon Peres met Sunday with Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme at the President's Residence in Jerusalem and addressed the expected Palestinian bid for UN recognition. "It would be a shame to reach a unilateral declaration that could lead to a dead end between the sides when instead a peace agreement can be promoted through direct negotiations," Peres said.
