Man killed after being hit by garbage truck in Haifa

A 50-year-old cleaning worker was killed early Monday after he was hit by a garbage disposal truck in Haifa, near the Paz bridge. It is believed that the truck drove backwards while its driver did not notice the man. An MDA team pronounced him dead as police detained the driver for questioning (Ahiya Raved).
