Foreign Ministry investigates detention of Israelis in Istanbul airport

Addressing reports that dozens of Israeli passengers were detained for questioning at the Istanbul airport, Foreign Ministry officials said they are currently looking into the incident. Turkey's ministry of foreign affairs told the officials that no order was issued to detain Israelis.

Israel is also making efforts to find out who is responsible for the detention, and whether this was an unusual occurrence or part of a new policy. (Ronen Medzini)
