PM: Palestinians' UN bid won't bring peace

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Palestinians' impending UN bid following his meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme, saying that peace can only be reached through direct talks without preconditions. He added that turning to the UN for recognition will not promote peace.

In his speech Netanyahu invited Abbas to come to Jerusalem, and offered to come to Ramallah to negotiate. (Omri Efraim)
