None
The New York Times reported Tuesday that the espionage conviction of Shamai Leibowitz, and Israeli-American who was sentenced to 20 months in jail, was linked to FBI wiretapping of the Israeli embassy in Washington.
According to the report, Leibowitz leaked transcripts of those wiretaps as part of his efforts to diminish what he believed to be Israel's influence in Congress. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
