Officer sentenced to 44 months over sexual abuse charges

The Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday sentenced Eyal Nachum, a 25 year-old IDF officer convicted of sexual abuse and indecent assault of minors he met through the internet, to three years and eight months in prison.
The court also ordered Nachum to pay NIS 20,000 (around $5,500) to some of the complainants. Nachum was convicted within the framework of a plea bargain in which he confessed to the acts ascribed to him. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
