Kids of migrant embassy employees to get status in Israel

Kids of migrant workers who were employed at embassies in Israel are to receive a permanent status, the state announced on Tuesday. The decision comes in response to an appeal submitted by the organizations Israeli Children and Hotline for Migrant Workers against a contrary ruling.

The kids in question were born to parents who came to Israel as migrant workers and were employed in embassies in non-diplomatic capacities. (Omri Efraim)
