NATO's top official has stressed that the military alliance's sole aim in Libya is to guarantee the safety of the country's civilian population, and he has no information where ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi is hiding.
"I have no information whatsoever on his whereabouts," Anders Fogh Rasmussen told reporters. "He is not a target of NATO's operation." (AP)
