Margalit drops out of race for Labor leadership; 4 candidates remain

Arel Margalit has withdrawn his candidacy for Labor Party leadership, dropping the number of contenders for the position to four. He expressed his support for MK Isaac Herzog, saying "the time has come to join forces."
Margalit made the announcement during a Labor Party convention held ahead of the primaries that are scheduled for Monday. Some 1,000 people attended the event. (Attila Somfalvi)
