PLO: We will seek recognition for Palestinian state

The PLO executive committee announced Thursday that the Palestinians are set to go on with their plan to submit a formal request before the UN to receive recognition of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with its capital in Jerusalem.
The announcement was made by Yasser Abed Rabbo, the secretary general of the committee. (Elior Levy)
