Quartet envoy to the Middle East Tony Blair accused Iran of encouraging instability in Iraq and Afghanistan in an interview with Britain's Times magazine and noted that a regime change in Tehran would make him more optimistic in regards to the Middle East.
Blair also slammed Syrian President Bashar Assad for his brutal crackdown of protests. He called on the international community to step up pressure on Damascus and said Assad had proven he is unable to perform reforms. (Ynet)
