Report: Israel compromises on demands in Shalit deal

Israel agreed to reduce the number of prisoners it wants deported from the West Bank as part of the Shalit prisoner exchange deal, the London-based al-Hayat newspaper reported Friday. It was also reported that Israel agreed to reduce the number of prisoners it refuses to release to 40.
