German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle condemned Friday's attack on the Israeli Embassy in Cairo.
The German Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Westerwelle "expects the Egyptian authorities to protect the embassy in accordance with international commitments and avoid any further escalation." (Ronen Medzini)
