Former Mossad chief Shabtai Shavit criticized US President Barack Obama in the backdrop of the storming of the embassy in Cairo saying: "Obama chose to support the peoples' populist demands and not the allied rulers."
He added: "Obama didn't think the ruler could be influenced and that was political naïveté on his part." (Yoav Zitun)
