Two Arabs employed by the City of Jerusalem as maintenance workers were attacked with tear gas on Sunday while on duty. The assailants are believed to be four men, described as wearing haredi dress.
Muhammad Ali, 31, from the Shufat neighborhood in north Jerusalem and Aba Eihab, 26, from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan reported that they were attacked in the city's Givat Shaul neighborhood by four men who sprayed them with tear gas before fleeing the scene.
"They said nothing, they just came up to us and used the tear gas on us," Ali said.

The two sustained mild injuries and were taken to the Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center for medical care.
Police forces canvassed the area, but were unable to find any suspects. The police believe this was a nationally-motivated attack, and the latest in a series of attacks against Arabs in Jerusalem.
Both Ali and Eihab noted that other Arab city workers were attacked several weeks ago. According to the two, the prior incident saw the tires on an Arab city worker's car were slashed and "Death to Arabs" spray painted on it.
"This is disgusting," Ali said. "We know not all Jews are like that, we have Jewish friends and coworkers and they're good people.
"We will go back to work," he added. "We have to. It's our livelihood."
