Hamas's deputy politburo chief Moussa Abu Marzook said Sunday that the Israeli stance as far as the Shalit prisoner swap deal is concerned has changed but noted there was no progress in negotiations.
In an interview with a Hamas-affiliated TV channel, Abu Marzook said that Egypt's role in negotiations was vital "not just in hosting the talks but in presenting proposals as they did in the last meeting in Cairo." He noted that during the time Egypt was not involved in the talks, there had been no significant progress. (Elior Levy)
