The high Court of Justice on Tuesday accepted the petition of Fatna and Ahmed Zabidat who were rejected by the admissions committee of the communal settlement of Rakefet in northern Israel. The two petitioned the High Court four years ago after being rejected due to "social incompatibility".
Supreme Court President Dorit Beinish and Judges Edna Arbel and Eliyakim Rubinstein ruled that the admissions committee had to allocate land to the couple within 90 days. (Aviad Glickman)
