Livni: Slamming goodwill gestures is making political excuses

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni commented Wednesday on Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's statement suggesting Israel's goodwill gestures towards the Palestinians are a sign of weakness, saying it was the "easy way out."
Speaking at the Second Agricultural Conference in Kibbutz Revivim, Livni said: "Saying that negotiations and goodwill gestures are a sign of weakness is politicians' easy way out of making decisions. Refraining from making decisions is what makes us weaker." (Ilana Curiel)
