Cairo: Abbas discussees UN bid with Erdogan

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met in Cairo with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday. The two discussed the Palestinians' UN statehood bid. Abbas expressed his appreciaton for Turkey's support.
The Palestinian president also met with Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, chairman of Egypt's Higher Military Council. (Elior Levy and Roee Nahmias)
