Peretz, Yachimovich fight for Mitzna's support

MK Amir Peretz visited Amram Mitzna at his Haifa home, saying upon departure that "Mitzna is a worthy, charismatic man. He should stand at the party's forefront so he can lead it in the coming years."
MK Shelly Yachimovich, Peretz's opponent in the running for Labor party leader, visited Mitzna earlier in the day. The two remaining candidates are battling it out for Mitzna's support in the second round of the primary elections. Mitzna was voted out of the race earlier this week. (Ahiya Raved)
