Ayalon: If PA bid is realized – UN will be compromised

In his meeting Sunday with UN Under-Secretary-General Lynn Pascoe, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said that "the Palestinians must not allowed to turn the UN into a rubber stamp for realization of Mahmoud Abbas' whims".
During the meeting Ayalon said: "If realized, The Palestinian bid will compromise the UN's standing and its ability to maintain stability and order in the world." (Ronen Medzini)
