Use females to evict outposts?

The new Arab weapon?

Op-ed: Instead of using arms, Arabs can attack our religious soldiers with female singers

The decision of several religious soldiers to walk out of a military ceremony because of their objection to “female singing” provoked justified criticism, but we don’t have to be wholly negative. I, for one, object the all-out rejection of “female singing,” yet I’m willing to accept, even as a gesture of sympathy, the rejection of “certain female singers” - for example, pop star Miri Mesika, who gives me a headache.

The objection of some Religious Zionism soldiers to female singing is depressing, yet we can no doubt reach a compromise that would allow us to let the music go on without undermining the feelings of religious soldiers: For example, the females will continue to l sing as usual, but put on headscarves.

Yet nonetheless, this affair raises some grim thoughts. Everyone agrees that the members of the Religious Zionist camp, who constitute a central part of the IDF’s fighting force, are dedicated, fearless soldiers. Despite this, one can wonder how brave is a soldier who does not fear Hezbollah fighters but gets scared of every 19-year-old female soldier armed with a microphone.

The IDF cadets who walked out of the ceremony will apparently cope with any Hamas threat courageously, yet they run away from coping with themselves and with the desires hiding under their berets.

Use females to evict outposts

Not to mention the practical implications this could have. Had I been the commander of an Arab army (to each his fantasies,) I would give up the attempts to attack Israel using armored forces or commandoes. Instead, I would switch to Umm Kulthum songs.

Armored personal carries equipped with speakers and the songs of female singers may be a balance-breaking weapon that will push back IDF troops who are unwilling to sin through impure thoughts, thereby defeating the Zionist enemy.

The pure souls of members of the Religious Zionist camp can also be used for more positive aims. Instead of trying to evacuate the settlers of Migron and other Judea and Samaria nuisances using combat soldiers, police officers or Border Guard troops, we shall assign this mission to the Education Corps band.

The band’s female singers shall be dispatched to the front armed with buttoned down shirts and songs, and within minutes we shall see the outpost emptying out of all its modest, pure residents, without using any kind of force of needless violence.
