French ambassador visits hit and run victim's family

French Ambassador to Israel Kristoff Bigot visited the Zeituni family home in Kibbutz Neve Or on Wednesday. Lee Zeituni was killed in a hit and run accident last Friday in Tel Aviv.
Bigot said that the driver and his friend, both Frenchmen who fled back to France after the accident, had a moral duty to hand themselves in to the authorities and stand trial in Israel, but should they fail to do so, they would be tried in France subject to the material and evidence which will be made available to them by the Israeli police.
