Sources: Obama told Abbas US will veto PA bid

White House sources said Wednesday night that US President Barack Obama had stressed before Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in their meeting that he opposes bringing the PA's statehood bid to the UN Security Council.
Obama had reportedly told Abbas that the US will veto the proposal if need be. (Yitzhak Behorin, Ynet correspondent in New York)
