1 dead, 60 wounded in Dagestan bombings

One Russian policeman is dead and about 60 people are wounded after a pair of bombings in the capital of the violence-plagued republic of Dagestan.

A spokesman for the Russian Interior Ministry, Oleg Morozov, said the blasts went off early Thursday near the ministry's republican headquarters in Makhachkala. (AP)
