US officials: Israel aid will not suffer, in spite of budget cuts

In a series of meeting with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, senior White House and US Congress officials stressed that the US had no intention of making changes that would be harmful to the aid to Israel in spite of the significant budget cuts approved in the US national budget, the finance minister's office said on Friday.
The minister is visiting Washington within the Framework of the International Monetary Fund's conference during which he is set to meet with finance ministers from around the globe. (Ynet)
