Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman denounced Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ address at the United Nations General Assembly, calling it a “very grave speech.”
“It was an incitement speech like I’ve never heard Abbas deliver before. It was an appeal to the darkest side and a return to the ethos of Yasser Aarafat. I saw no hope in the speech, only a grave threat,” he told Ynet. (Aattila Somfalvi and Yitzhak Benhorin, New York)
