Israel Railways workers impede opening of Rishon Lezion station

Israel Railways employees have gone on strike, thus preventing the opening of Rishon Lezion's new train station despite a Labor Court ruling that ordered them to allow the service line to be launched as planned.
Israel Railways said in response that "The employee's committee continues to be insensitive to the passengers. The actions of the committee chairman prove that Israel Railways needs a profound cultural and organizational change." (Boaz Fyler and Yoav Malka)
