State to pay NIS 2 million to family of Palestinian girl killed in shooting

Jerusalem District Court Judge Orit Efal-Gabai ruled that the state must pay NIS 2 million in compensation to the family of Abir Aramin, who was killed in 2007 by a rubber bullet shot by a Border Guard officer.

The judge said that there was no dispute over the fact that the bullet was fired negligently and in violation of orders. (Aviad Glickman)
