Erekat: PA gov't to discuss Quartet proposal in coming days

Senior Fatah member Saeb Erekat said that the Palestinian leadership will confer over the Quartet blueprint for the resumption of the peace process in the coming days. "We will gather in the next two days to respond to the proposal," he told the newspaper Alquds Alarabi.
A senior PA official told the newspaper that many within the government consider the proposal a positive measure, especially if Israel commits to halting settlement construction. The official noted that he expects the Palestinian government to accept the proposal. (Elior Levy)
