Poll: 63% of Jewish public supports public transport on Shabbat

According to a new "religion and State index" poll carried out by the Smith Institute 63% of the Jewish population in Israel supports the operation of public transportation on Shabbat and 80% say that haredim should be forced to take core studies in schools.

The poll also reveals that 62% of the public support civil marriage and 52% support same sex marriage. (Kobi Nahshoni)
