Islamic Movement: Israel aimed to humiliate Raed Salah

Sheikh Kamal Khatib, deputy leader of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, addressed the UK High Court's decision to compensate Sheikh Raed Salah for his unlawful detention.

"We knew from the beginning that the whole matter was a political game, and that Israel's government is behind it. It aimed to humiliate Sheikh Salah," Khatib told Ynet. "We have proved to the whole world that Salah entered Britain legally, and didn't break any laws." (Hassan Shaalan)
