Iran proposes referendum as solution to Palestinian problem
Iranian Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Saturday that Tehran believes that the Palestinian issue should be resolved by means of a referendum among Palestinians.
At the opening ceremony of a conference endorsing a Palestinian intifada, Khamenei said: "We do not seek to drown Jewish immigrants in the sea, nor establish UN rule, we propose holding a referendum among all Palestinians." (Dudi Cohen)
