Report: Turkey considers freezing Syrian assets
Turkey may freeze Syrian Presidents Bashar al-Assad's bank accounts worth about $500 million, as reported by the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.
According to reports, the Turkish Finance Ministry's criminal investigation unit has been observing Syrian banking activities, and is also considering imposing travel sanctions on officials close to Assad's regime. (Ynet)
