Palestinian arrested for smuggling 500 kg of meat into Israel

The police have arrested a 39-year-old Palestinian woman at the Hizma checkpoint on the outskirts of Jerusalem on suspicion of smuggling 500 kilograms of meat from the Palestinian territories.

During questioning, the woman, a resident of Beit Hanina, admitted that this wasn't her first time smuggling meat into Israel. (Yair Altman)
