Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein sent the district attorneys, the state prosecutor, police commissioner, and police investigations and the intelligence unit chief a letter in which he quoted parts of Judge Eliyakim Rubinstein's verdict over the leak issue in the Avigdor Lieberman case.
In the letter Weinstein quotes Rubinstein who wrote of the discomfort they felt over the way the authorities handled the investigation leak issue and the sore evil of the phenomenon. "Leaks pertaining to the interrogee is not compatible with human rights and liberties," Weinstein noted. (Aviad Glickman)
