PA spokesman: We will cooperate with Blair
The Palestinian presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said Wednesday that the Palestinian Authority will continue to cooperate with the quartet special envoy, former British PM Tony Blair, as long as he is its choice.
He called on the quartet principals the United States, European Union, Russia and United Nations to exert every effort and pressure on the Israeli government to accept the quartet’s proposal. On Saturday, Palestinian negotiator Nabil Shaath said Blair's "major worry is not to anger the Israelis, and therefore he ended just selling their programs, their projects, and if he does that his usefulness would be extremely limited, to us."
