150 Jaffa residents protest against cemetery desecration

Some 150 Jewish and Arab residents of Jaffa are protesting on Yefet Street against the desecration of two cemeteries in the city. Unidentified vandals smashed headstones and spray-painted the words "price tag" at the Muslim and Christian burial sites.

The protesters are chanting slogans that call for Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch resignation and accuse him of inciting racism. (Hassan Shaalan)
