Police: Driver who caused fatal crash in Akko didn't flee

The police reported that the accident that took place in Akko earlier, killing a woman and injuring five others, was not a hit-and-run incident as they initially claimed. The driver that caused the accident was taken to the hospital, and his car was found at the scene.

An initial inquiry showed that that the driver ran a red light and hit two cars. One of the people hit suffered moderate injuries, while the others suffered minor ones. (Maor Buchnik)
