Treasury, medical residents' meeting comes to a standstill

After nearly five hours, Treasury Ministry and medical residents' officials have once again come to a standstill. Treasury officials claimed they do not intend on opening the Israeli Medical Association deal for discussion.

However Treasury representatives also stated they are willing to increase the residents' salaries if, in turn, they will work for the public health system more than they do now. (Neri Brenner)
