Egypt's grand mufti condemns Jaffa cemetery desecration

The grand mufti of Egypt, Ali Gomaa, condemned the recent acts of vandalism that targeted two Jaffa cemeteries and other sites, saying that "The measures carried out recently by the Israeli occupying forces and the settlers clearly expose their intentions against Muslim and Christian holy sites."
The Muslim scholar urged the Arab people to "stand together against Israel's greedy aspiration to Judaize Jerusalem, continue with its settlement policy and desecrate Muslim and Christian holy places." (Roee Nahmias)
