Litzman: We'll train doctors from abroad
At a press conference on Tuesday Deputy Health Minister Yakov Litzman said that "attempts were being made to train doctors from abroad to work in Israel." He claimed that the move had already been under consideration for months and was not directly connected to the medical residents' protest.
According to Litzman, it is possible to employ doctors whose qualifications match the Israeli accreditation like that of the US and Canada. (Neri Brener)
