Chief of staff, Mossad head back Shalit deal
IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and the heads of the Mossad and Shin Bet recommended the Cabinet to vote in favor of the prisoner exchange deal that would see the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit.
A government source said that the decision was difficult, but the outline of the deal was something the government "can live with." (Ynet)
