Senior Hamas official admits: 'Heavy' prisoners will not be released

Member of the Hamas politburo in Damascus, Izzat al-Rishq admitted Wednesday that the prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hamas would not include senior members of the political and military arms of the Palestinian factions.

This is the first time that a senior Hamas official makes such an admission, following media rumors over the release of "heavy" prisoners. Israel has made it clear that such prisoners would not be included in the deal. (Elior Levy)
