Report: Israel won't harm prisoners if they don’t return to terror

A senior Egyptian official told the Al-Hayat newspaper that Israel would not harm any of the prisoners that it is about to release as part of the prisoner swap deal signed with Hamas – unless they attempt to act against the Jewish state.

According to the source, Israel and Hamas are to continue indirect talks to finalize the deal. Moreover, after the deal is carried out Israel is expected to ease its embargo on the Gaza Strip, the source said. (Elior Levy)
