Iran says gas output will double within 3 years

The Iranian Oil Ministry announced Saturday that the Islamic Republic's gas production will double within three years, reaching 1.2 billion cubic meters annually.
Deputy Oil Minister Javad Oji told the state-run IRNA news agency that once all phases of the South Pars gas field streamline, "the country’s natural gas output will increase by 700-720 million cubic meters in the next three years." (News agencies)
